Hippos before Summer

Last chance to watch Turgwe hippos on land before the heat of summer arrives and they remain in the river pools. Travis Riggs the 2013 raffle ticket winner from the USA enjoys close contact with some of the Turgwe Hippos.

    These are wonderful views of quiet hippos with babies. Congratulations to Karen for the amazing work done with this hippo group.

    It’s so nice to see the hippos looking so healthy and content, and I am happy for Travis to get such a close (yet respectful!) view of hippos in the wild.
